Captain Nick has grown up in Punta Gorda and has fished the surrounding waters for over 15 years. Fish Whistle Charters provides an experience like no other, fishing in a 19-foot Florida Fisher with a huge front deck. Outfitted with dual power poles and the latest SIMRAD electronics, guaranteed to put you on the fish. This tunnel-hull boat allows us to cross super shallow waters and ride in comfort! Launching out of Punta Gorda, areas such as Boca Grande Pass, Pine Island, Turtle & Bulls Bay are just a short ride away and teeming with fish. Anglers can expect to catch Snook, Redfish, Trout, Shark, Snapper & more. Inshore Fishing
Come experience the wide diversity this area offers, often times anglers catch half a dozen species or more in a single day and are amazed at the various wildlife seen throughout the trip as well.
Night Fishing
The best way to beat the heat and crowds on the water is getting out on a night trip, Snook and Tarpon are the main targets during these shows and catching 30 plus snook in an evening is not uncommon at all.
Tarpon Fishing
Come experience what this area is famous for! With Boca Grande pass a short 12 miles away and the Peace and Myakka Rivers just north, this area offers the best of both worlds. Tarpon can be found in Charlotte harbor year-round ranging in sizes anywhere from a few inches to up to 200+ pounds. This is one of the few areas in the world that has this population of silver kings.
